Field Day 2012 is now history. Despite the severe thunderstorms Friday night and Saturday that wreaked havoc on some sites in Eastern Massachusetts (notably the Cape Ann ARA in Gloucester, and Clay Center/Waltham ARA in Brookline) everyone persevered and had a great time.
I brought with me on my tour a copy of the official Proclamation from Gov. Deval Patrick announcing June 23-30, 2012 to be Amateur Radio Week in the Commonwealth.
I visited the following clubs/sites (in order):
My apologies to those groups/clubs that I was unable to visit this year. I hope everyone had a safe and rewarding Field Day, and I look forward to seeing everyone again in 2013!
P.S. -- I logged a total 359 miles. With the Prius getting around 52 MPG, I completed the trip easily on less than a single tank of gas.
